Old Fashioned Ham & Bean Soup

  • 1 (40.5 oz.) can of Hanover Foods Great Northern Beans
  • 2-3 pounds of ham with bone
  • 2 quarts of water
  • 1/2 cup of diced celery
  • 1/2 cup of diced carrots
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  1. Cook ham in water for 2-3 hours or until meat is tender. Remove meat from bone and cut into bite-size pieces.
  2. Add celery and carrots to broth; simmer until vegetables are tender.
  3. Add ham, beans, and pepper.
  4. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes.
