INSTRUCTIONS

Instructions

  1. Place the chickpeas in an extra-large bowl and pour 1-2 tablespoons of dressing on them.
  2. Marinate the chickpeas for 10 minutes while you are preparing the other ingredients.
  3. Add the chopped lettuce or cooled pasta to the bowl.
  4. Add the salami, cheese and half of the grated cheese.
  5. Add the thawed peas.
  6. Add a ¼ cup of the dressing over the salad and toss to coat. Add more dressing if desired.
  7. Add the rest of the grated cheese grated cheese and serve.

  • One 15.5 oz can of chickpeas, drained
  • One 12 oz bag of Hanover Petite Peas, thawed
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 4 cups iceberg lettuce, chopped
  • ¼ pound (4 ounces) salami thinly sliced or small cubes
  • ¼ pound (4 ounces) provolone or mozzarella thinly sliced or small cubes
  • 1/4 cup grated Asiago, Parmesan or Roman cheese
  • Your favorite Italian or Greek dressing
  • TO MAKE THIS A PASTA SALAD One 16-ounce box of your favorite pasta cooked per box instructions and cooled. Cheese Tortellini is a great swap for a heartier side or main course.
